Camacho Connecticut Review
I decided to fire up the Camacho Connecticut that Christian gave me, so I fired it up Saturday at work.
The Camacho Connecticut is the first an only Camacho cigar with a Connecticut wrapper. Shape: Monarca Size: 5 X 50 Draw: Perfect Burn: Perfect Construction: Excellent This was a very good medium-bodied cigar. Slight hints of spice for the 1/2, and the last 1/3 had a good bit of spice to it. Very nice smoke. The construction was unbelievable! Check out the picture of the flag. Yep, I was smoking in some serious wind and I did not once have to touch it up! If I had to compare this cigar to another, I'd say it's very close in flavor to the 601 black label. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks for the review. Smoked a couple of these last week and could not believe how good they are! Could easily become my go-to Conn.

Re: Camacho Connecticut Review
I saw these at the Party Source when I picked up my box of ECCJ's and almost picked one up but im not a huge fan of Connie wrapped cigars but then again its a camacho and I am a Camacho ho... but I wonder how much influence of Davidoff's acquisition of Camacho had of Camacho releasing a Connie wrapped cigar... still I want to try one of these and one of the Oliva white labels.. nice review

Re: Camacho Connecticut Review
David, thanks for the review, it sounds good. I went out to find some locally and none of the B & M's had any....actually they hadn't even heard of them.

Sweet. Nice review. I like the idea of a spicy Connecticut.

Re: Camacho Connecticut Review
I'm starting to enjoy the Camacho brand. I've had a few Camacho Corojo Maduro's which are my favorite so far. I have a 1962 I'm going to light up tonite, and also have a Camacho Havana waiting to be smoked that I got from the Toro box pass KASR had started.
Excited for this one to come out! As always, excellent review! |

Re: Camacho Connecticut Review
Great review! I just picked one of these up this week. I've never actually smoked a Camacho before, but I smoke a lot of Connies and the reviews I've read of this one sounded great. I've heard others compare it to the 601 Black as well, and also Tobacco Beaz.
I'll probably light this up tomorrow. I like Connies with a lot of flavor, like Casa Torano, NUB Connie, 5 Vegas Gold, and my faves are Cabaiguan, Perdomo ESV and the CAO Black. I'm hoping that this Camacho and the Oliva Con Reserve will make the list too ![]() |
