Nub 464 Torpedo Maduro Review

Someone from another board sent me this cigar and asked me to do a review on it. I wasn't that thrilled about doing one because I do not care for maduro cigars and I am not a big Nub fan....

Shape:
Torpedo
Size: 4 X 64
Draw: Perfect
Burn: Perfect
Construction: Flawless

When I took the cigar out of the wrapper, it smelled like wet grass and manure. But I fired it up, I got some nice spice, coffee, and dark chocolate flavors. The last 1/3 was serious dark chocolate and left my tongue tasting like I just ate a piece of Hershey's Dark Chocolate.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.

Re: Nub 464 Torpedo Maduro Review

Nice short review and GREAT pictures! In my limited experience, some of the best maduros STINK like a barnyard pre-lite!

I'm excited to try one of these, but my local still doesn't have them in...grrr!

Any opinions on the best vitola? I like the torp best in the Connie and Habano, and the BP Torp in the Cammy.

Thanks for the review, I've been wanting to try one of the nub maduros. The manure smell doesn't sound to appetizing but the chocolate sure does!

Re: Nub 464 Torpedo Maduro Review

Yanno, I was so excited to try these, before they came out. Now that they've been out a while, I've yet to hear or read of anyone being wow'd by them. I just keep walking past them in my B&M.

Re: Nub 464 Torpedo Maduro Review

I'm smoking one right now. They just got to my B&M. Like any other Nub i've ever had, its construction and draw are perfect.

I typically buy maduros. This is not my No. 1, but definitely enjoyable.
