Arturo Fuente Grand Reserva Review

I think this wil be my last Fuente that is'nt a Opus or a Short Story..

These smokes just do nothing for me! Very average at best. Too many smaller companies out there now offering so much more for the $$$

I just came back from my local B&M. I asked him if he had any Opus hidden - he said that he either had two "Free" sticks with a $500 Ashtray - or - two $250 dollar sticks with a free ashtray - my choice

So of course I just settled for a couple of short stories and some Padron 1926.

Re: Arturo Fuente Grand Reserva

Which fuente was it? They almost all say grand reserva on the band, and they all taste different depending on which line your smoking. Don Carlos are nothing like hemingways and hemingways are nothing like 8-5-8's. I wouldnt boycott em just yet, keep trying their different smokes and i bet youll find one you really like. Just my

Re: Arturo Fuente Grand Reserva

I had one earlier today and thought it was quite enjoyable. I actually went to the B&M today and bought another, but with a Maduro wrapper.

It had a cedar sheet rolled around it right?

That's the Don Carlos Robusto, unless I miss my guess. I agree the is one of the milder Gran Reservas. I recommend the Chateau Fuente Sun Grown to turn your head around. At around $4 per, they are one of the tastiest and a great value IMO.
