Taboo Special Forces Boot Camp review... great after some rest!

I had to change my order recently with Taboo because not all of my items were in stock. I'm glad I did because it gave me the chance to pick up a few more of these.
I had previously tried the Special Forces Boot Camp before and was left disappointed. The tobacco tasted too fresh, similar to the tobacco used by the lesser flavored acids ( not with regard to the infused flavor). After sitting in my humi for 6 months I decided to give this another go. Let me tell you that 6 months made all the difference in the world!

5 1/2 X 42

The cigar had a nice dark maduro wrapper. Prelight aroma was subtle but pleasant and construction was good, 7/10. The first few draws held promise, it started out with a rich chocolate flavor (think CAO Brazilia light) and stayed consistent changing only in the second half and showing hints of leather and spice. This thing produced loads of rich smoke. It wasn't harsh but had a pleasant mild bite which became stronger in the second half. The burn was interesting. It burned even throughout the cigar then canoed like crazy in the last 2 1/2 inches. As long as the cigar produced tasty smoke (which it did) I didn't care. So if you can let this rest in a humi for a few months prior to smoking, your wait will be rewarded in spades
Recommended (8/10)

P.S. Sorry for the lack of photos but I recently destroyed my digital camera and have yet to find a replacement.

Thanks for the review, I have a couple sitting in my humi that I haven't tried yet. I will make sure to give them another month before I break it out.

I really enjoy both the Special Forces blends from Taboo. I have a couple left I think that I need to smoke now. I may pull one out tonite if I'm able to find it in my humi somewhere!

Great review!
