Tat Havana Angeles

Brand: Tatuaje Havana
L/RG: 4.6x42
Size: Angeles (Petit Corona)
Price: Around $6
Date: 7/3/09
Weather: 72, no wind, humid
Bev: Coke Zero

Appearance/Presentation:
Dark Habano Wrapper, with a classy looking band. Pretty oily with some slight veins.
17/20

Lighting/Burning:
Lit up evenly with some wood matches. Burn was pretty even, kinda wavy. It burnt nice and slow, lasted around an hour. No Re-lighting, ash was solid-white.
14/15

Construction:
The initial Draw was absolutely perfect, nice and loose but with a little tug. The draw was ideal and stayed consistent throughout. Wrapper was well intact and stayed that way to the nub. No hard or soft spots, and no inconsistencies what so ever.
29/30

Taste:
Upon light i got a nice sweet caramelly flavor that only lasted about 5 puffs. After that i got a nice really rich earthy flavor with some strong black pepper for about an inch. Then the middle 2 inches had a cedary, grassy, borderline sweet flavor that I rlly couldnt put my finger on. Got some chocolate and more black pep in the last few inches.
32/35

Overview:
In all honesty I really don't like anything from Pepin, and I also am not a fan of any spice in my cigars. That being said, this was amazing. Great flavors, good size, flawless construction, and good burn. The flavors were very dynamic and kept me excited throughout. I'd def. consider buying some more, and I'd recommend to anybody.

Overall Rating: 92/100 - A

Nice review. Since you liked these, you might want to give Pete's La Riqueza Petite Corona a try.

Re: Tat Havana Angeles

A fine review, Dom. I've yet to meet a Tat I didn't like.
