Royal Jamaica #2

Cigar: Royal Jamaica #2
Year: 2005
Cutter: Xikar
Lighter: Ronson Jet-Lite
Beverage: Coke Zero

A little bit about this cigar: This is not the royal Jamaica Gold that you see advertised everywhere. These cigars are said to be cased (moistened) with a boiled Jamaican root product called bethune. They are known for having a unique aroma.

Pre-cut: Milk Chocolate colored wrapper with an almost sweet scent. Cigar is firm with no large veins or blemishes.

1st Third: This cigar is mild but has a good amount of flavor. It is very easy on the nose and has no "bite" on the tongue or throat. Somewhat sweet on the finish (vanilla perhaps).

2nd third: Cigar draws very well for a Lancero sized smoke. Stll on the mild side but I knew that coming in. Aroma is very pleasing and the nose exhale is nice. Hints of someting on the finish like maybe berries. Very pleasant so far.

Final third: Slight bit of spice on the nose exhale but the cigar is still mild. The finish has sort of a floral hint and is very clean.

Overall I enjoyed this cigar. It has a good amount of flavor but will not overpower you with spice. This is an excellent cigar to have in the morning with a pot of coffee. This was the last of a box I had friend pick up in Jamaica.

Sounds like an interesting smoke will have to look for one for myself. I would have liked to have seen that hot chick on the band though!!
