Pre-cut: Golden colored wrapper with no prominent veins. Cigar cut easily. Pre - light has a taste of nuts.






1st third: The first part of this cigar has a slightly sweet flavor with a hint of nuts and hay. It is very mild but does have some flavor. The draw is easy and the nose exhale is very smooth.





2nd third: Still getting the nuts and hay taste but also starting to get a sour taste that is not unpleasant. Ash is holding good and you can tell by the ash and the feel of the cigar that the craftsmanship is top notch.





Final third: Pretty much getting the same flavors but the sour taste has faded. Ash is holding on for dear life and the cigar has never got hot. Still very mild but with some ok flavors.








Overall this cigar is a little too mild for my taste. It would probably make a good early morning cigar but to be honest I am not sure a cup of coffee would not overpower it. May be better with hot cocoa. If you like mild Dominicans then I would suggest you try this one as the construction is perfect.

Thanks for the review. I have not had a Leon Jimenes since the boom. I recall they were pretty mild smokes back then and it seems nothing has changed. They do make a nice looking cigar though.
