Diamond Crown Maximus

WOW!!!!! Amazing cigar. Flawless construction. Perfect draw. Perfect burn. Awsome flavor! It was a very consistant cigar. It had that great creamy taste I love with some cedary flavors mixed in. I started this baby at 8:30pm and didnt put it down till a little after 10pm!!I wont try and sit here and give you all the itty bitty flavors that came out of it....cause i cant....I was so overwellmed at how good it was I didnt pay attention. I was so stoked about this cigar I immediately got on CI to buy a box (this one came from a well respected bomber so i didnt know the price).......$230!! Guess this will be the last DCM I get to smoke unless I win the lotto. I think I need to head to D.C. and pitch my "Socialized Cigars" plan so us poor folk can get the good stuff we deserve. Ive got it all worked out....we can tax femininehygein products to pay for it. Thats about the only thing that hasnt been taxed yet.

Anyhooo this is what happens when Im bored, alone, nuthin on tv, and i get ahold of a really good cigar. No im not drunk....dont drink.....anymore.

notice the shitty grin!

Re: Diamond Crown Maximus

Thanks for the review and pics, I feel pretty much the same way about those - top shelf cigar that comes with a top shelf price. I do keep a small stash of them for special occasions, they're just too good to not have a couple around, and it has one of my favorite bands as well.

I have one of these as well, but haven't smoked it. It gold moldy kind of when I received it. Was like a blue mold.

Re: Diamond Crown Maximus

B&M near work was selling these for 18 a pop. The deal was that with each Maximus you got 2 DC regular line torpedo's for free. I've had the regular line before and found them to be a very well constructed mild smoke so I figured why not. Still havent smoked it yet but am now looking forward to it.
Thanks for the review.

Great review. I haven't had one in ages, but I remember that I loved it. You have rekindled those memories that seem, oh so long ago.

Re: Diamond Crown Maximus

I've got the Big Boy still sitting in my humidor after about 4 years. The last one I had didn't impress me at all and for the price I paid I was pretty sad. I wish I loved these as much as others do,,,guess I'm afraid to fire up the stick I have because of the price I paid for it and don't want to be disappointed agaiin.

Re: Diamond Crown Maximus

Its too bad that people bid so damn much on those these days. Got a box of DCM#5 for around $115 about a year and a half ago. The Devil has gotten ridiculously overpriced on so many products.
