La Riqueza #5 petit corona

Wow. Add me to the list of converted. I have had many CC's and many more NC's. To this point, this little La Riq is my fave cigar I have ever smoked. As you can see in my pics, the ash NEVER dropped off the entire time. The cool smooth rich chocolate leather flavor stayed true all the way down. Thick creamy smoke rings and no knock-me-down nicotine kick! Even though it is a small vitola, it lasted me an hour. A glass of Glenlivet on the rocks and Lyle Lovett on the stereo were perfect company. I highly recommend these at $10 (and I never would recommend buying any cigar for any more than that...so that is my peak rating), even though I feel very happy to have bought this for $6 from the devil.

If you like this, you should try the cabinet non-box press version..

Re: La Riqueza #5 petit corona

As you have stated, these are wonderful cigars. I picked up a box a month or so ago after realizing that they had a home in my humidor. I also like the lancero. Thanks for the review.

So Stephen, where can we get some of those cigars from the cabinet series?

Cool Re: La Riqueza #5 petit corona

There's a Lancero La Riqueza??

The #5 Cabinet (round) is one of my favorites. I would put it up against a Partagas Petit Corona (CC) any day.

Re: La Riqueza #5 petit corona

Pick up the Cab's if you can.. I had one of the No. 5's the other night and it was great..

I got 6 samplers that had the DC, No 5 and the Petit Robusto.. I might have to pick up some of those No. 4s..

I don't know if these are Limited or not, but I was originally told to keep them a bit quiet.. I think now that the cat is out of the bag it's ok to show them tho.

Re: La Riqueza #5 petit corona

Because of this thread I'm going to be smoking on in about a half hour. La Riqueza ftw.

Btw if there was a lancero la riqueza, and I had been missing out on it, I would have been pissed.

Another GREAT small cigar. I can't get enough of these.

The Petite Robusto from the cabinet series is another winner.

Great review.

+1
(on all sizes of the La Riqueza) Love love love this cigar!

I also was hooked from the very first one, nubbed it, then added it to the list of cigars the humi should never ever be without from this day forth, amen.
