The construction was perfect, nice cap, no soft spots or blemishes on the wrapper at all.

So far I have smoked the 888 and this is my second 68 these are quickly becoming my one of my favorite cigars.

It smoked for around 45 minutes until I had to either put it down or burn my fingers.

The burn was great, a couple of small runners but self-corrected and no big deal. The ash was a nice salt and pepper which split in the middle at one point but did not affect the burn. It did not hold for very long but in such a small cigar no big deal.

The flavors were excellent. Strong and sweet from the initial light to the nub. A little bit spicy but more sweet and savory, some coffee notes that turned into caramel flavors about half way through. It reatined the core sweetness from begining to end while peppering in very nice flavors that changed throughout.

All in all this is a great cigar, it's no secret to anyone here but if you haven't tried one you owe it to yourself to pick one up.

Thanks for the review. Never had one I liked. never could get any flavor from one, kind of taste like air to me.

I was able to get my grubby little paws on one today. I'm going to fondle it for awhile before I put the puff on it.

Nice quick review. This is by far my favorite of all the Illusione. The others are "OK", but I doubt I'd buy anymore. The 68 is something really special however.
