Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 (Maduro) Review

Padron 1926 Serie No. 35 (Maduro)
Size: 4 x 47
Shape: Robusto
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Price: $8.16 each, box of 24 purchased online

Pre-light
: This little cigar is dark brown in color, proper for a maduro without being overly dark. It has a sweet, rum-candy aroma. Just yummy! Veins are very small, and the box-pressed shape feels just right in the hand. The center tobacco somewhat darker in color than the binder. The cap cut cleanly using a guillotine, with an easy draw.

First Third: The first few draws are surprisingly smooth, with nice thick smoke. It delivers a slightly peppery, woodsy flavor right at the start. It is burning evenly, and surprisingly slowly considering the amount of smoke this little cigar is generating.

Middle: Flavors become more complex adding sweet caramel and an earthy undertone, and the pepper has muted. The ash holds well, though it fell off for picture taking. No burn issues.

Last Third:
The sweetness of the cigar is coming through stronger on every puff. Yummy is about the best description I can give for the flavor. I left about an inch as I was at my limit of nicotine. Not a single burn issue the entire smoke, nice!

Overall experience:
This is a really enjoyable, full flavored smoke. With only four inches of length, it still took me about an hour to smoke. Excellent burn, and goodly amounts of smoke on every draw. The flavor is yummy Padron goodness. Definitely worth the $8.16 paid. I am very glad I bought a box.

Wow, so cheap... Where did you buy. I'm jealous! They are my most wanted smokes! Any for sale?

Thanks for the review, not often we get to see a review on one of these babies.

If you like the maduro then you must try the natural.

Nice review of a nice cigar.

Great review. I still haven't had any of those Padron Anny cigars, but every time I read about them, I think yet again about dropping the necessary coinage...
Thanks!

I've had one of these laying around for a while, just thought I'd give it a little age before I bust it out!

Awesome review!

What would you say you like better? The 26' or the 64'? I really digg the 64' so much so it was the first stick I wrote for my review,Except I got the natural for both.
