I enjoyed this puppy with a Hoegaarden beer on my roofdeck one recent sunny afternoon. It burns well and puts out plenty of smoke, so nothing bad to say about its construction. But as you can see, it somehow invites damning with faint praise. I guess there are just so many good cigars out there that cost about the same.

Straightforward 1 dimensional tobacco flavor with no bad or bitter notes. Minor nic kick near last 1.5" but nothing too strong. A perfectly ok cigar at the 2.00 or under level, but I wouldn't want to pay up for it. Just too many other good stix out there at the 3.00 price point. Nothing here to avoid, but nada to chase down either. Next!!

There's something to be said for "I just like it". There are some very good, inexpensive smokes. I happen to really love Gran Habano. They aren't complex, don't attack sixteen simultaneous parts of the taste buds with 2000 flavor layers. They are just simple, enjoyable smokes. Sounds like this one is along those lines. I spent the last week on the beach in NC smoking the churchills. As everyone says just a good all around smoke
