Drew Estates natural - My first review
(Hi guys, I am new here so if you hate my review or I post in the wrong section please don't kill me...
)A friend of mine recently traded me a couple of infused cigars from Drew Estates. I have smoked one so far and my review is below: The Appearance: Dark an oily. Very attractive as cigars go. ![]() The Burn and Ash: Burn was overall okay but not great. a little lopsided, and also needed one touch up toward the last third. Ash held okay and left a decent core when dusted off. (Note, if you have a notebook with large pages in your lap while smoking keep it away from your smoke... a lapfull of wind-and-notebook-induced ash is not fun. )The Flavor: Here's where things get fun... After cutting and putting the cigar to my lips I was hit with what I can best describe as a cigar, fun-dipped in what had to be some off brand Sweet-n-Low. Don't get me wrong, I have had favored cigars before, but this flavor reminded me of the Perkins for some reason, and I hate Perkins. The flavor completely overpowered everything in this cigar and was no different when tasting/smelling the smoke, which reminded me of my hookah loving buddies who drive taxis downtown. ( I was a valet for a few years) After about an inch of this I was dreaming of being done with it. But for the sake of this review I pressed on... Into the 2nd third I was still spitting. (I usually, spit a little to avoid swallowing too much smoke residue, but I could have irrigated a small garden thanks to the constant NutraSweet after every puff.) Into the last third the distinct flavor of Diet Coke assaulted my pallet and visions of fad diets danced in my head like an overweight ballerina. Thankfully my wife came home with dinner and I abandoned the remainder of the last third, heading to the bathroom to help remove the memory by use my off-branded-mint mouth wash. Overall I think this cigar would be fine for young children and the elderly, but if you are a serious cigar smoker looking for a change you may want to look into Cojimar instead. I Particularly like their peach flavored smokes. Next week I try the Acid by Drew Estates... we'll see how that goes. |

The mods will move it but you were close.
Great review, haven't tried that one yet but there have been a couple of sticks I thought they but to much flavor on the wrapper and wasn't pleasing. Enjoyed reading it so keep posting the reviews.

Interested in hearing which Natural this was. I love the Dirt and Dirt Torpedo. They aren't infused but have a sweetened tip. I really enjoy these.

Moved this to the rviews section for you.
Loved the review. I am sorry you have to suffer through the flavored sticks from your friend.
