Illusione Holy Lance
Origin: Nicarauaga
Shape: Lancero Size: 7 1/2 X 40 Draw: Perfect Burn: Good Construction: Flawless This was one of the few Illusione cigars that I have not tried. Every Illusione (Up until now) have been superb. This cigar was very one dimensional, medium-bodied. It tasted very young like it needed some more age or something. Very little spice and pepper, VERY LITTLE. I cold not wait for this cigar to end. It left a bad, sour-like taste in my mouth. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

I have dubbed cigars from the Illusione line "Mac Jr's" because to me every one I have tried has about about as much flavor and body as a Macanudo.
Many like them and I am sorry that your HL experience wasn't any better.

I love Illusione but the HL was a HUGE disappointment to me as well. I have had 3 of them and all were just as you described.

I just bought one of these and having been anxious to try it, however, I will forget I have it and maybe revisit in about 6 months, maybe with a little rest it will be better than you described.

cg4 is the only cigar in the line i like... ive smoked a few hl's and didnt like any of them...

I was about to buy a fiver of these. Now I think I'll buy another vitola or maybe some Cruzado, which haven't tried yet...Thanks for the review
