5 Vegas Series A Anomaly 4.5x44

This little tootsie roll is exactly what pos wannabes like Padilla EE Obsidian only WISH they were. Firm draw, even burn. Classic maduro leathery chocolate wrapper, flavor, aroma. Smooth full body that you can sip for nearly an hour. No nic kick. Worth every penny of $3. Always room in my humi for some of these.

I think the "A" is a terrific smoke for the price. So im not the only one that hated the padilla obsidian??? Its on my very short list of smokes i do not want to try again .. lol

Love the 'A'. Recently bought a five pack of each size so I can figure out which one I like best. So far the Apocalypse is tops when I have the time for it.

The Anomaly is my favorite size, there's nothing small about the flavor.

Re: 5 Vegas Series A Anomaly 4.5x44

Smoked my 1st 5 Vegas Anom. this evening. Nice and smooth with a bit of nutty flavor after the 1st 1/3. Had to put it out with an inch left, I felt like it lost whatever I had tasted before. (new guy).

Re: 5 Vegas Series A Anomaly 4.5x44

I've only had the Alpha and Archetype sizes (which are very similar). I'd be curious to try a smaller ring gauge like this, but I definitely need to try the big honkin' Apocolypse sometime.

5 Vegas has definitely risen to everyday smoke status for me, espeically at the price.

I've smoked a couple of the Archetypes (toros) and probably around ten of the Artisans (robustos). Love the Series 'A'. Pretty hard to beat for the price.

Re: 5 Vegas Series A Anomaly 4.5x44

Had a poor performing Anomaly last night. I bought a 10 pack from c-bid last month and this had been the 2nd one I would have tried. The draw was super tight and there was a hole in wrapper about 1/4 in making drawing even more difficult so that I couldn't even seal my moth over the imperfection from the end (not the foot). I gave it 20 min but ended up trashing it and going with a Don Lino Africa as I didn't have much time left. I liked the 1st experience I had though.
