Nica Libre 1990 Principe (review of experience)

Sorry in advance for the lack of pictures. This became a review after the fact. I will explain later.

Have you ever had a cigar, that you thought you were not enjoying, and it turns out that you were? I had that happen tonight. I fired up a Nica Libre Principe after supper tonight and wasn't really feeling it. Little too bitter. Draw was too tight. The burn was all crooked. Too much. So...I was screwing around on the iPhone, checking email, enjoying being outside on a rare non-oppressive Houston evening, working on my fantasy football team...and the stick got better. Bitter became spicy with lots of body. Draw became slow and easy. Burn...well...long as it stays lit and tastes good, does anyone really care about a slightly off center burn? But the thing is, nothing about the cigar changed. At all. Same taste, same draw, same burn the whole way through. Upon reflection, I'm not sure I enjoyed the smoke or not. I think I liked it alot. I'll have to recheck. This happened once before with an Oliva V Lancero and now that is one of my go to favorites. Has this happened to any of you?

Not sure if this counts but I have smoked the Tempus and didn't like it at first but because I had purchased a 5pack and smoked another. Now it's my 2nd favorite smoke, the 1st being the Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles. Because of this I won't judge a cigar until I have smoked it at least twice.
