alrighty i got a box of these for 40 shipped off of devils site and really at the time thought i got a great deal. i have smoke other oliva cigars and have enjoyed them all so why not buy a box. i have smoked 8 of these now since all with the same opinion.

Drink. sam adams traditional bock

appearance. not the prettiest girl i've ever seen. couple of soft spots no cracks

pre draw. tastes like grass, smells like barnyard. very easy draw

first third. peppery first 4 to 5 puffs overpowering. smooths off a bit but still very harsh with a terribly uneven burn.

second third. alittle chocolate coming through but very harsh buning the back of my throat. these have been sitting in my humi for 8 months and still are harsh as hell, and burn terribly hot.

last third. i put this bad boy out with over 2 inches remaining and went to get me another beer to put out the flames. flavor harsh alittle cocoa.

final thoughts. beer was very good, cigar is one of the worst i've ever smoked and they are all have been as bad as this one. this cigar is so bad i wont even pass it off on my friends. my opinion is to avoid at all costs.

Oh noooo,,,,I"ve a 5 pak of these sitting in the humidor that have been there for at least 7 months. So, aging these doesn't help, huh? Guess I'll try one while doing the yard and see if it at least ranks as a 'yard gar',,thx for the warning.

just bought a bundle of famous nic maduros for 30 bucks shipped off cigarmonster. hopefully these will replace this nasty one.
