Re: Casa Magna

These are a good smoke.
I tried one for the first time when I was in Florida on business. The owner recommended them. Really good construction, nice draw (not too tight, not too loose), great burn, and nice mellow flavors.

Since then I've found one of the local B&M's carries them so I am trying new sizes to see which I like better.
Oh, darn...I have to smoke more cigars to see which size I like...oh, whatever will I do?

Re: Casa Magna

So far I've smoked the corona and the robusto. I didn't care for either of them. To me they were one dimensional and tasted like dirt, not earth but more like dirt. Construction was good and they do put out a ton of smoke.

But I'd take a Pepin or A. Fernandez Signature over these any day.

Re: Casa Magna

I just smoked my first one last night, robusto, i believe. This is the oilest cigar i have ever smoked, looked like it came stright from a photo shoot, couldn't hardly bring myself to set fire to it. It was great till about the last third and then boom, nothing. Purged and brought it back for about 2 more draws and dat was dat. Damn pretty cigar tho..lots of toasty coffee, dark tobacco flavors till the last part.
