just saw these in a Thompson ad for $59 a box. Ive heard good things about TB just never heard anything about this one.

I thought it was a good cigar. I guess it is 70% long filler and 30% short filler to cut on costs. I like the one I had

That's what the SF (short filler) stands for. It's a good inexpensive smoke my local has them for a tad less than that...

There is an online vendor called Factory Direct that has em for about $37-38 a box. I'm not familiar with this vendor, so can't render an opinion on them...other than that price is a lot better than Thompsons. Guess that isn't any big surprise huh?

This little stick is phenomenal for the $$$$!!!! They got them in the other day @ my B&M, where they're selling them for $2.89 a pop!!! They're classic DPG IMO... Coffee, cocoa, & pepper notes are dominate through the stick... They've still been on the damp side from recently being shipped, so I've been dry-boxing the ones I've been buying for a couple of days before I smoke them... Other than that.......they're great!
 They'll only get better with a little age on them. Like the above posters said, it's 70% LF & 30% SF cigar.If your a Pepin fan.... GO BUY SOME!!!! I don't think you'll be dissapointed at all. After all... You'll more than likely be spending under $3 for it anyway. Whattaya got to lose huh???  I give it 2 thumbs way up!  |

BTW... I'ts the Robusto size that I've been getting @ that price.
I'd really like to try the Toro & the Corona size now.I'm all about getting a great smoke @ a great price!  |
