Montecristo Vintage 1999

Robusto.

This may be my best stick to date.

We lit them up and immediately said "wow... this is going to be a good one" and it was. Spicy and robust from start to finish. There were complicated notes in the middle and end that I'm not good enough to describe. Smoked it down to a nub and never had one bad note, no bitterness at all. Ash held fairly well, a little over an inch at a time.

Finally a medium cigar that didn't leave me wanting more.

The only bad thing I can say:

Draw was a little tight for me, I wish it made more smoke in the first half. It didn't burn evenly at all but I really don't care as long as it tastes that good.

Angry Re: Montecristo Vintage 1999

I had this cigar about a year to go and to this date it was the best tasting cigar i have ever had. It reminded of raisins and toasted caramel even though there is no such thing. But the draw was the worst I have ever had. I tried for a hour to keep it burning but in the end the cigar won and I felt defeated because it wouldnt stay lit or produce any smoke. If only they had a better contruction!
