Re: Man O War

Try the corona size. it is really closer to a Lonsdale anyway, at 6 inches long. I have had two, and the second improved a lot with 3 months of humi time on it. Nice firm draw and construction. Medium body and nic strength. Good volume of smoke. Clean finish. Pleasant straight forward tobacco flavor, with a hint of choco in there at one point. Last third not as well behaved as the first 2/3 of the stick. But I would buy again at around $2 per. I got mine for $3 and at that price I would pass, since there are others I want to try.

Re: Man O War

I've been a fan of late also. Picked up a ten pack on a Jam a while back. Smoked one after a week of rest and didn't think it was anything special, and a bit harsh. Let them rest for over a month and completely changed my opinion. Great tasting stick that was smooth the entire way through. Perhaps my take is skewed because I tend to break these out after a few cocktails.

Re: Man O War

Another cigar that benefits greatly from a few months lay down time.

Re: Man O War

I like this stick. It's not that strong to me, but I'm a fan of full-bodied sticks.
Thanks for the review.

I'm diggin' it, T-Dub! I agree, those big smokes kick me in the butt pretty hard! I must be getting soft in my old age :P.

Re: Man O War

Nice review! This is currently one of my top go-to favorite cigars. I've smoked about half a dozen of them so far, I'm thinking of leaving the last 6 or 7 for some aging and see what happens!
