Padron Serie 1926 80th Anniversary Perfecto

Cigar: Padron Serie 1926 80th Anniversary Perfecto
Year: 200?
Cutter: Xikar
Lighter: Ronson Jet-Lite
Beverage: Diet A&W Root Beer

I would like to thank Shawn (ssutton219) for this cigar. He read where I had gifted mine to a brother BOTL and decided to gift this one to me.

Thank you Shawn for the wonderful gift!

Pre-cut: Beautiful box pressed perfecto with a smooth dark brown wrapper. Pre-light draw offers hints of bittersweet chocolate and a touch of spice.

1st third: Lit easily and the draw offers just the right amount of resistance. This cigar starts with flavors of cocoa and spice with a faint hint of coffee on the finish. The smoke is thick and chewy and is smooth on the nose exhale.

2nd third: The cigar now has flavors of leather and coffee with a slight sweetness in the background. The cigar is full bodied and medium full strength. The nose exhale has a sweetness mixed with just a hint of spice. The finish is long and leaves a pleasant leathery taste on the tongue.

Final third: Cigar has burned even all the way down. Still getting tastes of leather and coffee along with sweet spice. The finish is long and the smoke is heavy. The nose exhale gives of tastes of sweet spice and leather.

[

Overall this cigar is an excellent smoke. The construction was typical Padron excellence. This cigar is full bodied and medium full strength. While it is very pricey i would not hesitate to buy and smoke one occasionally.

Once again, thank you Shawn for this absolutely wonderful cigar!

Toothy is used to describe the wrapper. When you see a wrapper that has tiny raised bumps all over it that would be a toothy wrapper.

I have noticed that there is usually a lot of tooth on the CAO Golds.

I've never had, but they call my name. They are like the holy grail. Ok, that's slightly melodramatic, but I do have one on my Christmas list. Great pics and review!! Love the ashtray also.
