A. Fernandez Signature Series Robusto Review
From The MFG:
Quote:
Price - $5.00 Wrapper - Ecuador Habano Dark oily Habano wrapper with minimal veining and nicely applied cap. The band is simple, attractive and not overdone. Slight barnyard smell. Draw is good and smoke volume is very good. Flavor is primarily wood and leather with a touch of spice. The robusto has more pronounced flavor and better smoke volume than the toro. The finish is long with heavy wood and leather notes. There is a touch of sweetness to it as well. While there is some spice, its subtle and in the background. The spice doesn’t compare to a DPG. Not as strong as the DPG Black, but not mild either. Wrapper is a bit fragile and can crack. Aroma has a woody like scent. Pleasant but nothing extraordinary. Burn is good with a solid white ash. This is a medium-full bodied medium strength cigar. A good complement to DPG Cuban Classic Look and Feel - 9 Flavor and Aroma - 9 Burn - 8.5 Overall - 8.8 Sorry no pictures.
