RP Edge Missile Maduro

I had this last night, and I enjoyed it overall, though I will say I the first half was a lot better then the second half.

I was prepared to be knocked over, in all honesty I had a real rough week at work so did not mind being knocked over, but truthfully I did not feel any punch at all, maybe because this is a smaller version of the edge?

The first half I thought was superb, I got cocoa and coffee, but then when i got to the second half I have no idea what happened it lost all taste, it is possible I smoked it too fast.

Also I got a bit of sweetness in the aftertaste especially in the first half.

I had no burn problems at all and was excellent construction and draw. I got it for $5 and change so it was a good smoke overall and for the price I enjoyed it.

I would guess this was the problem, I have had quite a few of these & never had a bad one. Try another just to be sure!

I actually really like the Missle, but I do like the Corojo better than the Maduro. If you haven't tried it yet, definately try a Corojo.

I agree. The corojo and the sumatra are much better. Edge Sumatras are getting harder to find nowadays though. I used to like the Edge maduros, but I've fallen out of love with them. They're not strong, but the musty leathery flavors aren't to my liking.

I like the toro size, but the missle is a good size as well.

I used to love the missle and still like it but have gone on to much more full flavor and full bodied cigars lately,,thanks to Jerry and the place he does business with. You can still find the sumatra flavors on CBID at times and for a price that is around $35 for a bundle. I like the edge and the missle and Vintage 90's for my tastes.

Re: RP Edge Missile Maduro

The maddies Edges are one of my top 20 smokes. I always take them golfing and have never been disappointed. If you smoke them too fast, they will get tarry and acrid, but slow down a little bit and they're great!
