Casa Gomez

Smoke my first Casa Gomez cigar that was sent to me from Loren from Casa Gomez.
This cigar was a belli or torp shape about 6 t 6 1/2 and 52 or so ring. It is a little tough to tell from the web site, but i think it was a Casa Gomez Benjamin.

It had a light colorado colored wrapper and a sweet grassy smell on the body and foot.

When I lit it I got a little grass, nuts and just a hint of spice. As you smoke it the spice fades and gives way to a sweetness that build till you are finished.

The grassy flavor starts to fade about half way thru and the spice starts again. So from the half way point to the end you have a nutty, sweet, spice flavor that builds until done.

This cigar was medium body at best so it was not exactly in my flavor profile, but I have to say for a med cigar this was pretty good. The flavor is subtle, but definatly there. And the changes were nice.

I liked it and it was a nice change of pace for me.
