Re: Fuente Fuente Opus X
My experience with the OPUSX line is that they definitely have the best rollers working on these things. I remember the first one I smoked, my brother and I compared them to 'fine furniture'. Serious heft and that great dark brown rosado wrapper, you can tell before you light the thing that they are indeed something special. Hate that friggin price though. Up here in the northeast you usually only see a box with one or two left in it sitting on the shelf, usually the dinky sizes, so people are paying the going price. I was in a cigar shop in Puerto rico earlier this year that had this huge armoir type thing in their walk in humidor that was full of OPUSX stogies. It was like finding the holy grail of OPUSX, I got all excited and shit, for a minute I thought I was going to be able to score a few at a reasonable price, HAH!! The joke was on me as I found them priced at 30 bucks a piece! You know damned well it doesnt cost them over a buck to produce one of these things down in the Dominican Republic, but as long as we suckers will pay it, they wont be getting affordable to the common man. In the meantime, enjoy em on special occasions, they are indeed a delicious smoke.
