Montecristo White

Shape: Toro
Size: 6 X 54
Draw: Great
Burn: Great
Construction: Good
Smoke Time: 1hr. 15 min.+

Creamy, mild and smooth, the Montecristo White is a favorite for aficionados who appreciate a complex smoke without an overwhelming amount of strength.

This cigar is one of the more recent additions to the Montecristo family.

The Montecristo White was produced in response to the demand for a milder and creamier cigar, but one that like all Montecristos had a rich and definable flavor and character. With the success of the original Cuban Montecristo, which debuted in 1935, and the continued success of the non-Cuban version that was released in the 1990’s, the White has quickly become one of the most popular Montecristo line extensions.

The Montecristo White is mild to medium bodied with a creamy texture and earthy aroma that is soft on the palate with a moderate finish. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and Dominican blend make this cigar complex yet not overbearing. This combination is what has attracted all types of cigar enthusiasts to the Montecristo White.

I got this cigar courtesy of andrew s in a trade. It was on my want to try list and Andrew I believe went down to the his local B&M and picked this up for me along with a Nica Libre. That was very thoughtful.

Overall I enjoyed this smoke. A great morning cigar that was very relaxing to smoke that went great with some coffee.

This stick was constructed well it was almost "too pretty" to smoke. Small veins and a great "sheen" to the wrapper. The wrapper did crack but it did not hinder the smoke.

Lastly it went perfectly with some Call of Duty 4!

Consistent good taste from start to finish. Not too one dimensional IMO like some other milder cigar's I have smoked.

Next time I'd like to try a smaller vitola as even after gaming for quite some time I had to put this guy out of his misery a little early. There was still a third left after 1hr. 15 min. plus.

Looks like this runs about $10 a stick and IMO that's too high. If you can pick this up closer to $6-$7 I think you will enjoy it.

Thanks for the review. I enjoy this stick, but it's not worth $10. I think there are places that you can get it cheaper than that.

Great review Matt. I have a couple in my humi waiting to be taken down. Thanks for the reminder. Call of Duty 4 is the best, I love it!
