Newb Review / Perdomo "Habano" - Corojo

Good Evening Folks,

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

I sparked one of these up late this morning, about 11am.
I have had the Maduro wrapped version of this several times, It has always been a great smoke in my opinion.
I think Perdomo makes a solid cigar, I have not had a bad one yet, and this was no exception.

This cigar came in Perdomo sampler pack. ( $4-5 range average) I met the Nick Perdomo at a show he was having at a nearby shop...
Scored a few free sticks from him too.

1) Construction - Very, Very Nice.. Solid to hold, great wrapper super small and smooth veins.

2) I cut just the top of the cap off and toasted the foot.. It burned very evenly all the way through.
This cigar had an effortless draw, But was packed tight. Kind of amazing. A Pleasure to puff on.

3) Taste-

1/3rd - Very, Very Smooth with feint hints of toast, spice and notes of cedar and cocoa . Very enjoyable.

2/3rd - Dense, Creamy / white / thick smoke.. and alot of it. It smelled great. All the tastes remained and although stronger, very comlimentary to each other.
This cigar was tasting great, I was wishing I had a Churchill size instead of the one I was holding.

3/3rd - Excellent ,A nice intensity , A bit more spice and cedar. Not sure if it was cedar, But something close.

The Nub - What a Nub should be... I kept smoking it until it was too hot to handle.

The Ash - Well organized with a gray majority and some black flakes.

I would overall call this a great smoke, One that is worthy of having several of in my box. A nice change of pace from the maduro wrapped version.

I will be certainly getting more of these tasty sticks.

I hope you enjoyed yet another of my newbie reviews..

I will continue to post more and will always welcome your feedback, opinions and comments
