Don Francisco Perfecto

Cigar:
Year: 2009
Cutter: Wolf "V" Cutter
Lighter: Ronson Jet-Lite
Beverage: Coke Zero

I would like to thank Don Francisco for the chance to try a sampler of his cigars.

Thank you brother for the generous gift!

Pre-cut: Very nice looking Perfecto that measures in at 4 inches with a RG of 50 at the foot and tapers to 44 at the head. Very smooth dark brown wrapper with no major veins. Pre-light draw has hints of nuts and tobacco with a very faint peppery spice.

1st half: This beautiful perfecto starts out with a sweet tobacco taste that has hints of nuts and leather. The smoke seems on the mild/medium side but does not lack in flavor. The smoke is thick and the finish is pleasant and long. The nose exhale is very smooth and has just the faintest hint of spice.

2nd half: Cigar has opened up a bit and I am now getting some very nice tobacco flavors along with some leather, nuts, and light spice. The aroma is very pleasant. The finish is long and the nose exhale offers a hint of spice accompanied by leather.

Overall this cigar is a very nice addition to my humidor. I would classify it as medium strength and medium bodied. The flavor combination is very pleasing. I would happily smoke these regularly and would have no problem gifting to other BOTL as I think they are a quality smoke.

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to try this blend!

Great store and great stogs. They're all good. I like the barber pole myself.

Re: Don Francisco Perfecto

The DF cigars look amazing. As well as the band with the friendly and welcoming font! I remember askng about that awhile back. As always, great review. Looks like it would be a tasty treat for this upcoming colder weather when you can't fully enjoy a nice bigger cigar.
