I picked up a handful of these from the local B&M ($3.85 for a single) and fired one up today while walking the dog. Have to admit, didn't know what to expect, but it was pretty good. It was a bit tough to find any info about them online, but here's what I found.
Te-Amo World Series Selection Cuba Blend - Gran Corto 4x62
Wrapper: Criollo '98
Binder: San Andres
Filler: Criollo '98
They claim the wrapper and filler are vintage. Don't give an age though. While burning pretty sharp, the filler was snow white. I've seen off white and light gray, but never snow white. It really caught me off guard. Flavor wise, it started a bit rough, but after the first few puffs it really changed into a nice cigar. It reminded me of the few CCs I've had when traveling abroad. Nothing spectacular here, but still a pretty decent cigar. Flavor stayed consistent until the last inch and then really picked up to finish nicely. Ended up nubbing it. Not sure what some age will do to it, but I'm going to find out. Anyone else ever had one?
