Padron Delicias Maduro

Size: 4.875 x 46

Price: $4

Excellent construction in terms of burn, and put out lots of smoke! Took me about 45 minutes to smoke.

1/3 - mostly got tobacco and some coffee notes a bit bitter

2/3 - was the best out of the entire cigar it got creamy and some cocoa with more coffee

last third - got harsh and I did not finish the cigar

Overall I rate this cigar 2 out of 5

It just did not have enough flavor for the flavors it did. I guess for a $4 cigar cannot expect much.

The one Padron I tried I really like was a 1964 Maduro I might pick up a 1926 and try that

Re: Padron Delicias Maduro

I have a box of these and have smoked maybe 1/3 of the box. It's a good cigar, the Londres is better priced. Very strong coffee and bitter cocoa flavors, they are a little acrid and are kind of harsh on the palate. I think they would really benefit from being a little more nuanced rather than a leathery cocoa blast, but it is a good, flavorful cigar for its size profile.
