Casa Gomez
Cigar: Casa Gomez
Year: 200? Cutter: Palio Lighter: Ronson Jet-Lite Beverage: Diet Mt. Dew This cigar measures 6 3/8 inches with a 44 RG. Pre-cut: Cigar has a very light aroma that has faint hints of hay and an underlying sweetness. The wrapper is golden brown in color and has no veins that are prominent. Pre-light draw has a hint of tobacco and fresh mowed grass with a faint taste of leather. ![]() 1st third: The cigar starts out with a taste of cut grass and leather. There is a hint of sweetness on the palate. The smoke is thick and creamy and the aroma is pleasant. The finish is short and has hints of leather and a saltiness. The nose exhale is smooth and has hints of leather and nuts. ![]() 2nd third: The cigar has started to show tastes of nuts and leather. The grass is still there but is very faint. There is a sweet spice taste occasionally. The cigar is smooth and very mild. The nose exhale offers faint hints of nuts and leather and the finish is still short. ![]() Final third: When I removed the band the wrapper came along with it. The band was stiff and there was lots of glue right in the center of it. Like a good trooper I continued to smoke it with just the binder and filler. The cigar still tastes of nuts and leather and the underlying sweetness is gone. The nose exhale remains smooth and the finish is still short. ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall this cigar is not a bad mild cigar. It is fairly one dimensional but it is not a bad dimension. Would probably pair nicely with a warm sweet drink like a hot chocolate. I would suggest rethinking the way the bands are applied. Thank you Loren for the cigar. I still have 2 more to smoke and review and I will be doing that after I let them sit a bit longer to see if they change any with time.

Re: Casa Gomez
Thanks for taking the time to review this for us. I'm letting mine sit for another few days before I smoke another as I did partake in one off the truck.
