Oliva Serie V Maduro Torpedo

I was going to the cigar lounge and planning on smoking a LFD Limitado IV that I picked up somewhere else when I saw that the cigar lounge just got these in a brand new box of 10. So i said oh wow I have to try these since I love the V serie, they were expensive $12.69 for each. To me that is a lot when they normally go for around $7-8 for the regularly torpedo V serie. But I figured I will only see these once a year i think so why not.

Construction is excellent as usual, Draw was excellent.

The drank I had was a Sam Adams beer one of my favourites.

First thrid: Opened with spice not a lot but enough to know it was there and soon mellowed out and dominant flavor was woods

Second third: Was still wood with some coffee and got creamy, cigar was getting very good and full bodied. Oh btw I had not eaten dinner so was really starting to feel it by now

Last third: Mostly wood which I would say was throughout the entire cigar, but had hitns of chocolate, coffee and some spice.

It took me about 1.5 hours to smoke and was a great cigar. By the time I was done I was feeling it and needed to get something to eat.

Nice review. I missed out on these last year so I jumped on a box when I saw them online. I've promised myself that I'll let them age for a full year before I touch them. We'll see how that goes, made it one day so far.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I still think I enjoyed the regular V Lancero better but this is one fine smoke!
