CI Legends Green Label
This week's review is The Cigars International Legend's Series Green Label by Puros Indios.
Cigar- CI Legends Green Label (5.7 x 54) Cutter- Double Blade Cheapo Lighter- Robson Jetlite Drink- Coke Zero Pre Light- The construction looks great. The wrapper is very smooth with a couple very small veins. The weight is a little better than average. The only smell is of tobacco with a little bitterness. Pre light draw is very mild, with a bit of sweetness Initial Light- The stick lights easily. The initial flavor is woodsy with just a hint of spice. The draw is perfect and the smoke is very creamy. 1st Third- Man this thing is producing an amazing amount of smoke. There is a toasted wood flavor on the finish. There is some black pepper spice there, but nothing over powering. The cigar seems to be on the medium side of mild. The ash holds strong uttil I bump it off around the inch and a half mark. Approaching the second third the stick hasn't changed much. 2nd Third- The cigar is still woodsy. About half way through the stick there is a lot of bitterness to it. Kinda taste like chewing on a pencil. In a couple draws the bitterness goes away. The stick has picked up some toasty notes to it. The woody is still there. As weird as it may sound it taste sorta like a campfire. Approaching the final third the strength f the stick picks up just a little. Final Third- Like I said before the strength of the cigar has picked up now. I would say that is a solid medium strength at this point. The earthiness is back now, as the woody flavor fades away. The pepper is still there, but just a bit on the tip of the tongue. The cigar keeps this same profile going into the final stretch. Final Stretch- The smoke stays the same till I put it down with about a half inch left. Overall- This was not a bad cigar, it wasn't complex but it wasnt boring either. In my opinion there are better Conn, wrapper cigars out there, but there are def worse ones too. But at three bucks a stick it is worth it to try it. Let me know what you guys think. |

Re: CI Legends Green Label
Great in depth review. I haven't tried any of the CI legends yet, eager to though.

Re: CI Legends Green Label
Great review TW! I have a couple White Labels (Camacho) I've been dying to try, might have to post a review when I finally get around to smoking one.

Re: CI Legends Green Label
Thanks for the review. I tried the blue label and really enjoyed it. Is this the first one you've tried?

Re: CI Legends Green Label
Thanks for the review. I've had the orange (RP) and the purple (GC), the orange is one of my favorite cigars but I was not as impressed with the purple.
