The Chateau Sungrown line is one of my favorites. However, I've been told by someone with extensive experience in the tobacco industry and knowledge of the growing and they say the reason Fuente is having burn issues is due to a lack of magnesium or potassium in the fields. The fields have been worked hard and not fertilized properly.

Re: Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown

Got 2.5 inches through my first Chateau sungrown.. Couldn't finish it. I LOVED the taste, a good bold peppper spice flavor took up most of the flavor with undertones of a earthiness throughout. I would have finished it, if not for having to relight 3 times.. man.. don't know what hte issue was. Gonna let the other ones rest for a little bit of time before i smoke another, but i loved the flavor, the burn issue just killed me though. Once it died on me for a forth time, i just gave up. But, I'll be back at them again once more, still got three of a 5er left. (gifted one to my uncle last night).

Just had my first Chateau SG a few days ago. What a nice smoke at a $3-4 price. Buttery smooth, creamy and big peppery spice is how I would describe it. Looking fwd to having more!
