Mi Cubano Review

This was gifted by either Mr.Maduroo or Jezter VA.

I have never heard of this cigar before.

It was 1030 at night and I decided to drive over to a friends house to pick a few things up.

The pre light draw was there, no spice just a light tabacco taste- a little sweet. A little veiny in the wrapper.

I lit it in a hurry, as I started driving before I lit, so for the majority of the cigar it burned pretty unevenly, but that was my fault and the wind's fault, although it actually evened out pretty well.

The taste was quite mild with a slight sweetness to the thick smoke. I actually really enjoyed the taste. The middle of the cigar picked up some spice in it at times, which made the smoke a little more interesting.

I had to put it out with about 2 inches left (I think this was a 5x50 smoke) because I had to go to a store, but at that point I was quite satisfied.

I have one more of these in my humidor, and I will save it for when I want a lighter bodied cigar.

Re: Mi Cubano

These cigars are what got me smoking cigars in the first place. I loved them back in the 90's. They were reintroduced last year after a 4 year absence and they must have changed them cause now they are on the sweet side. My memory was mostly of a spice flavor.

Thanks for sharing the review...

Re: Mi Cubano

I had one of these about 10 days ago. Not a bad smoke. The draw was pretty tight on mine, but I just Hoover'd through it. I definately agree with you on the slight sweetness. Good smoke that the B&M said I should try.

Nice review!

Thumbs up Re: Mi Cubano

That's what I forgot to mention. The draw was very nice- nice and easy but unlike the LGC that I had that felt like I was sucking through a 5 inch straw (way too much smoke). Just right.
