OPT Original robusto

I smoked one of Waynes creations this afternoon. A blend of 7 tobaccos I'm told. I lived to tell about it.

Robusto size. Rustic appearance. Good draw. Firm to the touch. No pre-light aroma. After the light, the aroma is full and pleasant with lots of smoke. Firm white ash.

The cigar is spicy from the start. About a third of the way in, there is a lot of earthiness. The earthiness builds until the taste hits the back of my throat. Medium to full bodied. A slight bitterness emerges, but not enough to put the cigar down. Spice and earthy flavors remain until the end. I smoked it to the band. Not bad Wayne. Hats off to you.

Thanks for the kind words bro. Ya almost had it, it is 10 tobaccos from 7 countries. A little overkill, but I could not make up my mind when rolling them. So just used everything I had.

I smoked Waynes latest vitola last night, pure pleasure. I always look forward to these babies, Wayne you need to put on a clinic for the rest of us. I agree with everything that rjs said, but mine did have a wonderful prelight aroma, and no bitterness to the nub. This is by far the best construction job to date, makes me a little jealous. Great firm ash, perfect draw that started out mild and built to a great sinus clearing ending with tons of smoke. Congrats, you might think about marketing these someday!! Looking forward to the next installment. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ya musta got one of the good ones bro. A few of them looked like a 140 yr. old woman before I wrapped the charmin on them.

I could never market them, BTW. We (Mr. Saka, Hbooker, myself) figured out one night that they would cost no LESS than $40-$50 US to produce, EACH! If I were (and will one day) to buy more molds, I could increase production, and maybe crank out 200 cigars a week. (more if I had more time) But for now, it is 10 at a time, when I have time.

We are moving real soon, and when done, I will be in production again. S ome new blends will be produced
