AGE: In my humidor since 2006/05/01.
VENDOR: Local B&M.
PRICE: Current retail is about $3.30 apiece.
AMBIENCE: 5PM Thursday afternoon. Hot & humid but a good breeze.
BEVERAGE: None.
APPEARANCE: Veiny but smooth extremely oily wrapper. Rather hefty
stick for it's size.
PRE_LIGHT: Caught good tastes of cocoa and butter.
DRAW: Perfect. (I have noticed that Hoyo and Partagas seem to
always have perfect draws)
FIRST_THIRD: Gave off some good woody chocolate flavor to start. Added
some butter into the mix after an inch or so.
SECOND_THIRD: Started getting more wood tastes as the dominant flavor.
This wrapper is called Cameroon, and it tastes like a
Cameroon, but it sure is DARK.
FINAL_THIRD: Continuation of the woody chocolate and butter, mixing and
changing a bit every few puffs.
BURN: Got a bit uneven halfway through, I guess I was smoking it
a bit slow.
ASH: Very dark, almost black, firm ash.
SMOKE: Lots of white tasty smoke.
STRENGTH: Medium
FLAVOUR: Wood, chocolate & butter mostly.
FINISH: Wonderful tastes that stayed with me for almost an hour.
SMOKE_TIME: 45 minutes. It seemed to burn a little fast.
IMPRESSION: There's not much else to say about this cigar. It has a
lot of character and very very good flavors.
RATING: 9 out of a possible TEN wooden matchsticks.
COMMENTS: This is another one that is now on my "Must Buy" list.

[Marathon]

I got a fiver of these as part of a sampler with a 15 ct. Herf-a-dor from Satan.com. I had previously tried a natural Excalibur and didn't care for it at all, so I was not expecting much from this one. I was really impressed by it, and would definitely pick up some more. I thought the flavor was pretty darn good, and the burn and draw were both top-notch.

I've never had a bad Excalibur 1066. I usually try to smoke one about once a month or so. So may damn cigars to savor and try.
