Alright! Looks like I get first review!
Yan, THANK YOU SIR!! You have made a very nice product and the quality shows when you hold it in your hand.
[Sorry that all the pics aren't great. I was using my phone in the rain.]
So, here it was before I lit it. Very pleasing white/black pepper smell to the wrapper with some slight cedar notes. Pre-light draw was very pleasant and slightly sweet. And the wrapper was so light it appeared to be just a little but green.
I used a punch at first and the draw was very good, but maybe just a little loose. FAR better than being a little plugged, though!!
My initial thought is that it tastes a bit green... like grass... not a bad green flavor, not sour... but not great right away.
Got a little further in and decided the smoke was finishing a little bitter with the punch, so I clipped it as little as possible with a Palio. This actually opened up the smoke and created a really nice volume of smoke. It also brought our some floral flavors.
The cap was also a triple cap, and very thick. Quite a nice construction, solid up and down. I did have some minor burn issues, but nothing that affected my smoking pleasure.
It's a very mild smoke and hints of clover began to come through. Worked very well with the floral flavor and was a nice development of the original green flavor.
Then, as I was walking along my neighborhood sidewalk in Seattle, this guy came running up to me and stopped me in my tracks. I swear he ran up and did his best to say "GIMME SOMETHING!!" Sadly, I didn't have anything but a cigar and a cellphone... so, I reached in my pocket, which really excited him... but, he just got his picture taken.
As I got farther through the cigar, I began retrohaling a lot more. It's a mild cigar, so you can do it over and over again with a lot of smoke and no damage to the nose. And the retrohale brings an awesome baking bread smell... maybe the best part of the whole cigar. Also, as the green flavor has developed, it's gone to a green tea flavor and a sweetness came with it.
A few minutes later, the green tea turned to bitter... sadly, I had to let it go.
Overall, this was a pretty good cigar. It's more mild than my tastes lean, and I'm not sure the green flavor that lasted throughout was my thing. It's DEFINITELY different than anything I've had and I'm really glad I had the chance to try one. I suggest you folks that haven't had one, give it whirl... I think I've seen them come in 3 packs!!
Thanks again Yan!! And thanks to Shuckins and Eyesack for putting this together with Yan!

Magnate, were you just smoking on the streets?
Sigh, Communist Santa Monica would ticket me in a second if I did that
They are actually trying to pass a law to make it illegal to SMOKE INSIDE MY OWN APARTMENT.
Ha ha...good review and loved the squirrel...I was thinking it was going to be a photo of some homeless guy where you gave him the rest of your Sultan.
Yes, I was smoking on the street... though, I could have gotten in trouble because you can't smoke within 25 feet of a door or window... which means you need a 50 foot bubble of no doors or windows in downtown seattle... yeah right.
And Seattle is working on a law to ban smoking in your own apartment... though I think the federal government will be hearing from me if they do.
And Gary, the squirrel was awesome. He had serious attitude. I was walking and he ran out in front of me and stood up... totally stopped me and looked up at my face. ballsy lil critter.

I love it...this had me laughing. How many times in life does stuff like this happen where the unexplained comes right up to ya and you are there looking around for witnesses to see what you are seeing? Having a camera ready was awesome. Had a dog one time just slowly walk up to me like he was going to let me scratch and pet him...in a vain attempt to lift his leg up ( half heartedly...I'm thinkin...no way!) yeah, 'marks' my left pant leg with a few quick streams of dog juice and then slowly walks off like this is normal. I thought I was going to laugh my head off.
Hi Chris,
Thank you very much for your professional reviews Sir! I thought will get reviews next month since Sultan need to be rested for 2 weeks minimum. Hope Sultan were ready when you burned and smoked it :-)
You are right Chris to describe Sultan is a mild cigar. I describe it as a "smooth" cigar :-) I made it mild but still hold the tobacco taste stronger, so all of cigar smokers can feel and enjoy the taste even they are a "newbe" or a heavy smoker.
Burn issues, it's a normal for sultan cigar. It's because of the bone of the tobacco wrapper (thick bone). I was thinking to change it with other wrapper but i didn't because it will be affect on the taste even small :-) The burn still normal even not perfect 100%, but the main point is you still get the original taste of King of Java cigar :-)
Love the squirrel and funny story of you both lol.
Thanks again Chris for enjoying my cigar, a noble cigar from Java.

I recieved mine last week, thanks Shuckins, the bad part was I was on my way out of the country. So into the humi. it went. I should be back in 2 or 3 weeks and that will def. be on my list to smoke. I can say construction was very nice, it had a smooth wrapper, and a very pleasent smell. I'll post back when I get home and fire it up.
