Review: Camacho SLR Maduro 5x50
I got this baby off the devil site a few weeks ago. I tend to like med-full bodied cigars and this fit in perfectly. I toasted the foot and it lit up with no problems. The draw was just right - not too tight or loose. The first puff or two had lots of smoke with hint of sweet chocolate and coffee. About 2/3 thru the coffee blended with a nice smooth "tobacco" flavor. As I progressed to the end all the flavors intensed to a smooth finish. I would say it was more towards med bodied than full but very satisfying none the less. Oh I forgot, the construction and burn were perfect.

Re: Review: Camacho SLR Maduro 5x50
I had one of these a week or so ago that I was gifted in a trade. Honestly, I did not care for it much. Seemed bitter and not very complex. I ended up killing it about half way through. Maybe it's just personal preference.

Personally speaking enjoying the hell out of it as I write. I think the bitterness you sense in it is because it is not the sweet flavor a lot of people like. This one has a bit more nicotine a little more kick so to speak, not overpowering. Nice everyday kinda smoke. Doesn't leave a heavy aftertaste like some. Flake nice and grey no black spots. Clean even burn which I think is really important in a good cigar. I've smoked more expensive unevenburning cigars. This one not so. Bob
