My First Cigar Review: Rocky Patel Sun Grown

Many people have reviewed this cigar already and due to their comments (neoflex, RGD, studentsmoker, Warhorse 545 ect....) I got one and tried it and here is my review:

The Cigar: Rocky Patel sun grown (this pic sucks, the rest are better..sorry)

Size: 6.25 x 50, Nice oily dark wrapper
Pre-Light Thought: Man this thing is SPICY...and boy isn't it great!!!
The smile on my face in this next pic shows how the first third went down. The ash held firm, and was very light grey in color. The taste was spicy (which I was surprised about, because usually what other people say the cigar taste like I never taste it, but this time was different... SPICY and deliciouse!...you know I'm enjoying that smoke.

As the ash slowly grew the great taste remained constant, the beverage I chose to drink with this cigar was Newcastle brown ale....went wonderfully with it too I might add.

The cigar ash soon fell off onto the table, and my dream of "long ash club" fell right with it...For now!!! As for the rest of the cigar It remained tasty, and there were a few other hints of flavor in there during the last 1/4 but my palate is not refined enough to pick them out yet. My over-all Rating is an 8/10 (This low only because my journey has just begun and I know there are better things to come. I hope everyone enjoys my review.

Nice review - Love the pics. I wish more folks would post up pics of their smoking experiences. I have to score a few of these smokes. I have noticed they are starting to go up on price quiet a bit on CB.com (from reviews on here no doubt).

Nice review I love these cigars and the contruction on them is always top notch, some torps I had were so beautiful it was a shame to light them up that was until that first drag of smoke hit my lips.
