Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

My brother and I sat on the porch for a smoke last night. I decided to have a Montecristo White Label Especial #3, one of my favorites. I still liked it, but after the 3000M the night before the MC seemed almost too mild! From now on my "after dinner" smoke will have to be a medium to heavy bodied one. I think the MCs will be better as a weekend "just woke up" smoke.

Cool Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

I have tried most of the Padron line, I smoke the 2000M everyday and have smoke over 25 boxes worth and have had maybe 5 sticks that didn't make the grade. Pradron makes a fine smoke and I look forward to the next finger burning experience.

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

Just had my first Padron 3000 Maduro tonight. All i can say is WOW! This was fresh out of a 30 box that I received earlier today. I don't think I've had a cigar for this price range that is anywhere near comparable.

FWIW I'm in Canada and have access to all kinds of habanos. This kind of tasted like a fatter Montecristo #4 from my limited experience....and a whole lot nicer on the wallet!!!

Thank God I decided to order a whole box of these!!!!

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

I enjoyed my first Padron, a 3000N, just this past week.

In my limited cigar smoking experience, it was far and away the most enjoyable smoke I've had yet. I had to stop myself from puffing on it too frequently, which wasn't easy.

It was so good, I wanted to just bite the end off and chew it up.

I will definitely be ordering a box of these, once I figure out what vitola and wrapper I enjoy the most. should be fun experimenting..

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

I just had one of these last night 30 minutes after I killed a 6000, it was my first time for either and I loved both (the 6000 I like much more).

I sat smoking an LVH Leather Patch Robusto at lunch today and it gave me a lot of the flavor and toastiness that I liked in the 3000 fwiw, same flavor profile but milder and a bit cheaper.

Very strange to smoke 3 smokes in a row that struck me so similar.

and I agree with a previous poster, Padron does not make a bad cigar

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

There is one reason that the 3000 are better than the 2000 which I love so much. There is more to enjoy. This an on the money blend for Padron, top to bottom. Don't know that Padron makes a bad smoke.

agreed, I didn't know Padron made bad smokes. If you like the 000 series then you gotta try the Anni series (26's kick ash)

This is definitely one of my favorites. I want to age some but I can't stop smoking the damn things!

I will have to go look for Nash cigar as it is right in my neck of the woods.

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

Just bought a box of the Padron 2000 M, this past Friday. The 000 series is a great value in my opinion, I love the anniversary series and have several waiting in the humi, but for a sub 4 dollar cigar Padron 2000 are hard to beat.
