Thumbs up First review: Padron 3000 Maduro Review

My brother (canes) and I took a trip recently to a cigar shop in Rocky Mount, NC on a quest for Padrons. Fortunately, we were able to find some 3000s and grabbed a couple for each of us. Canes generously treated me to a couple along with a nice collection of other premiums for my birthday. After a few days in the humidors we decided to give one a try this evening.

I'll have to say that this is definitely one of my favorites now! Nubbed it.

Good draw, even burn, and I really enjoyed the flavor (although I'm not quite sure how to describe it... smooth? creamy? hmmm...).

I'm definitely going to get a box of these for the new humidor! I really want to try the naturals now, and will definitely order up a sample of various Padron singles at the same time.

This only disappointment with this smoke came at the end, when it was finally too short to continue smoking!

I will resist the urge to smoke the other one as I think it can only get better with some time to marinate in the humidor... well, until I get my box anyway...

Btw, thanks to Kevin at Nash Cigar for sharing his knowledge and helping us find a few new smokes to try! (And to Mr Maduro for telling my brother about Kevin's fine establishment..)

Nice review. I enjoy the 3000 M, but my favorite from that line so far is the 2000 M. The naturals are good too, but for the the maduro is where it is at in this line. I always have some 2000 M on hand.

Darn! The place we were going to order the 3000 Ms at is now out. Think we're going to try a box of 4000 M and 2000 M...

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

Great review! I've had a single 3000M sat in the humi for a few months now. I'm currently in love with the 2000 naturals, but sound like this would be a nice change. May have to burn it at the weekend.

The 2000 mad is my everyday smoke. Padron does not make a bad cigar.

I would revisit them. They can be strong in flavor, but I don't find them to be spicy. Worth a shot again.

Re: First review: Padron 3000 Maduro

I have found some of the 3000 maddies to be very very strong, while others more mellow. They are good, but very inconsistent from stick to stick.

The naturals, on the other hand, have been a bit more consistant and I prefer them much more.

I have a 2 year old box of 2000M that I haven't touched. I'm almost ready to crack these open.

They're the old style 2K, the firm, box pressed ones, not the round, loose ones they're making these days.

Boxes of 2000M and 4000M on the way... can't wait to try a 2000M! (Actually, I can't wait to try both!) I have a feeling after trying the 2000 I might have to place another order and fill a coolidor with some "everyday" smokes...
