I really love the top end cigars but I have reached a stage that it is no longer practical to only smoke $8 -$20 sticks.

I have come to the conclusion that I need something for the everyday smoke in the sub $3 range, that, while not as good as the big dollar sticks, will still be enjoyable and close in taste to the ones I like.

I will still buy the good sticks that I like, but save them for special occasions.

I also have a new Humi on the way that I need to fill http://seriousshopping.shop.com/op/~...090?sourceid=8
I hope Thompson humidors are better that their cigars.

Thanks again
You want to be careful of their humis too. I have yet to see one that was worth a dime. Get yourself a cooler and make a cooler-dor. You'll be ahead of the curve. Search for info on coolers. You'll be glad you did.

Flor de Oliva are excellent bundles of milds. Oliva Grand Cameroons are good also. cubancrafters.com arent bad for own brand bundles.

Re: What bundle do you recommend???

While I'm in a decided minority, I like the Perdomo "fresh rolled" Cuban Wheels torps or double coronas from cigarbid that I can pick up for >$75./bundle of 50. They're usually about two months in my humi before I get around to smoking them and if I have to put one out early, I don't have to cry about it.

Re: What bundle do you recommend???

I would suggest the Perdomo 2 Mistakes Maduro Torpedo, and the Sancho Panza Double Maduro link. The SPDM is no bundle, but boxes can be had for bundle prices. I believe that the Perdomo Mistakes may be only available through CI and Cbid.

They are sold out right now but check back. You can also check there site for other good deals. The Joya De Nics if you like full flavor.
I've never visited this site before. I spot checked some of the prices and they seemed almost too good to be true (ie, the Gols). How can they price so low?

Dunno, but they're legit. There's an entire thread devoted to users posting good experiences with the shop. (Myself included.)

The Don Kiki bundles are pretty good. Great price and a great smoke.

Yup.....looks like good dealings across the board. Their CAO prices are outstanding....I might have to spring for those Cameroons.

Re: What bundle do you recommend???

I want to thank all of you for your replies.

Looks like I have quite a few options.

I ordered some stuff from Thompson 12 days ago, but haven't seen the order yet.

Thompson claims, if after smoking two cigars, you don't like them you get your money back.

Has anyone sent back any of their cigars?
Did they give you any trouble?
Do you need to pay the shipping to get them back to Thompson?

Again I want to thank you for your help.

Looks like they have another victim. There are many, many better places to order from than Thompsons. http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthr...ight=Thompsons

I have steered clear of them due the wisdom of experienced gorillas telling me they suck.

Re: What bundle do you recommend???

I have tried a stick that came in a Thompson and Cuban Crafters bundle and you really want to try elsewhere if you can. There is a lot of info out there but I agree with what NCRM said about learning from other people's experience here at CS. I have already saved money by using the advice I am getting.

Re: What bundle do you recommend???

Now, I was gonna suggest a Thompsons bundle...but then again I had to check my thoughts on this one...Seeing how I don't smoke bundles....I prefer the "BOXES" They are much tastier!! Less, filling, and you can find them at your B&M.....Also, you don't have to wait for the Big "T" to finally get them to you!! Remember..."Don't beat a DEAD Parrot"
