I think the RP Conn. is a fairly nasty cigar...right about 'yard cigar' territory. I got a bundle free w/purchase of RP Fusions.

It's got a very chemical taste to it at light up...nearly unbearable. That quickly goes away but it's a fairly unremarkable cigar from there. Construction is great and it's an attractive cigar but I don't care for the taste. For me it's something to chew on while riding the lawn tractor.

I hate to thread crap but I just had to comment (I would write up a review but momma said "If you have nothing nice to say..."). And this is coming from a self admitted RP freak...I love just about everything that Rocky makes.

I also have 5 Vegas Gold Nuggets and the difference is night and day.

I definitely have not had the experience you have w/ the RP Conn. No chemical taste at all. It's just a smooth and creamy smoke for me. I bought a box because I think they're excellent.
