Review: Phillies Blunt Chocolate

Ok, if you refer to this thread:
http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=29216

You will see I was gifted this "cigar" by a regular customer of mine. I decided yesterday to give it a shot. As I pulled it out of the cello, I gave it a whiff, and it actually smelled REALLY decent. I noticed it already had a cut in the end, so I didn't need to clip it with my Xikar. I went ahead and lit up. First puff was pure chocolate, and it really wasn't that bad. Then I got onto the 2nd and 3rd puffs, and they tasted completely like rotting trash, combined with bannana peels covered in more trash. After the 5th and 6th puff, I had to put the thing out of its misery. I do plan on going to my local shop and buying a decent smoke for the guy that gave me this, so I can introduce him to a good smoke. There is my phillies chocolate review. I did it guys, and was dared to take one for the team, so there you go.

Re: Review: Phillies Blunt Chocolate

Nice review...that first puff off of a gas station flavored smoke is actually pretty tasty...but for some reason that doesn't last Maybe they'd be good with some age on them

Next time you get gifted a phillies blunt...I hear there are some other ways to enjoy them

All jokes aside, a very nice gesture

Re: Review: Phillies Blunt Chocolate

The chocolate used to be my favourite cigar before I was turned onto real cigars.

Yep, tastes like a hershey's in your mouth at first, then goes to a hershey's dipped in a cardboard sauce. Yuck.

Pogg:
I read the other thread before this one and, was hoping you would do that
His gesture warrants a return gesture in kind (IMO) You will do him more good by introducing him to "good" cigars, and broaden his horizons.
Yer a goot and kind man!

Don, I figure its best to do that, and maybe introduce him to a good smoke, as well as get my local shop some more business

Are you willing to toss in a Padron just to cleanse my palate? Hey 7-11 is a great place to pick up a choice cigar, a tasty hot dog and a fine bottle of Mad Dog to wash it all down. Can't beat it!!

Good goin and nice review. Even though it was "just" a phillies, that was a nice gesture on his part. Retaliation is a must.

Problem with you guys is you ain't lived til you've herf-ed at your local 7-11.

Bi-monthly for us. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon is our host...storeroom or cooler, we pull up a few cases of Hamm's to park our butts on..add a medium sized slurpee cup brimming full with Hav-A Tampa's, a few Muriel's and some well aged El Producto "Escepcional's" found behind the display rack wedged in behind the counter. On some occasions our host even let's us have our pick of any of the snacks that are more than a week past their pull date. Now that's living.

You guys have forgot your roots
