Now for the review,....

Pre-Light Aroma was INCREDIBLE! Pre-light taste was sweet, raisony and peppery. Great draw!

First Impression: HOLY S**T! Cough,..... spice, dark bean flavor, did they repackage a series R? Peppery! Draw is a bit tight, but so nice.

First 1/3: Burning nice, mostly white ash. Full bodied and super dark, earthy, wonderful flavor. The cigar started to chil down more towards medium after a few minutes in to this 1/3. AMAZING FLAVOR.

Second 1/3: Excellent flavor continues!

Last 1/3: Blowout! Medium flavor and leathery

Total Smoke Time: 1 Hr 42 Minutes

Final Comments: Put to rest at about an inch. This was an incredible cigar; and even more astonishing is the price a box can be had ($42-50 from JR). I love this cigar and I will be ordering a box in the next couple months. Also, if someone were to tell me they combined the La Gloria Cubana Series R blend with the Don Kiki Brown Label blend into this cigar, I would not hesitate to believe it! Strongly recommended!

Nice review. Glad you liked it Tristan. Check out cbid. They really go cheap over there. You can get a 5er for $6-8. A great smoke, imo.

Dirt cheap....great stick. Only problem I've had in the past is with construction. Loose rolls and/or bad burning. But when they are right it's hard to beat the value.

I've smoked my share of the MM Magic Mountains...Longash2U.com had them for under $40.00 last time I looked.

Looking at JR's info; I'm not sure if I have the Maduro or the EMS; I thought Maduro, it that's correct then it has a Costa Rican wrapper. The EMS has the Habano 2000

IMHO, the Magic Mountain Maduro is a great cigar off-the-truck, but it really begins to shine when it has a bit of age on it. They really get tasty at about a year.

Of course, I usually find it difficult to leave them alone long enough for them to age!
