Wrapper: Smooth, small veins, light brown, good construction

Environment: Drinking coffee on the way to look at wedding cakes.

First Impression: Wonderful w/light pepper at medium body. PERFECT DRAW

Great creamy, smooth, light spice with grassy notes. Unfortunately I had to to let this go out while my fiance and I went to look at wedding cakes. When I relit this it wasn't quite at the half mark. It was great until I nubbed it and put it out. Consistently good medium tobacco flavor with nice hints of spice throughout! I look forward to smoking the second of the gifted Shirpas in a couple months!

I agree this is a very nice cigar, light with a caramel vanilla taste. i haven't found a gurkha cigar i don't like.

Assuming you mean K. Hansotia? I had one of those and wasn't that impressed, but I do have another one to give a shot here in a little while.

These are another good cigar found at great prices at the devil. Usually can get a bundle for under $30. Well worth it. Nice review Tristan. I've got one ready for lunch tomorrow.

Sherpas are good, cheap, nutty and buttery with a bit of spice..

I've gone through 3 bundles in the past 2 years I think. Its not a cigar I smoke all the time, but when I run out I watch Cbid for another bundle.

The Sherpas are 'kinda like "Sherbet" for me... They seem to cleanse the pallet in-between the heavier maduros. And they age very well!

you'll have that sometimes, a cigar not livin up to the hype. again thanks for the tip. i've tried sherpa'a, gurkha regent, conneticut, and boer and i liked all of them. almost all cigar makers make a cigar that doesn't live up to all the hype. even though gurkha's, torano and perdomo seem to be the most consistantly good cigars out there in my opinion. it's a shame you have to pay so much for them.
