La Perla Habana- Black Pearl Cobre Review

So I am smoking this thing right now, and this is not the same stick I smoked a few months back.

This thing is sweet, sorta strange flavours actually. Not sure how much I like it.

I think that maybe I was told wrong and I smoked a Rojo last time I had a black pearl. That stick was peppery. This is smooth and sweet.

I really don't think I like this- I'm hoping that it starts to spice up, but if it doesn't happen within an inch this is going out.

Ok, so I put this out with about 2 and a half inches left. It did spice up a bit for a few puffs, but not much.

This is one of those cigars where not only did I really not care for it, I really just did not like it at all. The sweetness tasted very strange, not really very organic tasting. Maybe it was just a bad one or something. It had been in my humidor for about 2 weeks. I don't know....

The wrapper and aroma to the unlit cigar were awesome. Very smooth stick, and it burned well. The draw was perfect, and there was nice silky, white smoke. Well constructed.

Not a flavour I cared for...

Feel free to send me any of the extra Cobres laying in your humi. I can spare you the unpleasantness next time...

No, seriously, I had a 5-pack of the Black Pearl Cobres a few months ago and liked them, but they were different. Mine had a sort of alternating sweet/pepper/sweet taste.

Haha, that was the only Cobre in the humi.

Glad you liked em, I may try another some other time to see if my tastes have changed.

See, I was hoping for that pepper, but never got it.
