Camacho El Legendario Torpedo Review

Well, here I am again just showing how far I have slipped down the NC slope.

Told by several people that these were made to compete with the RP Edge I just had to see for myself.

Construction: Flawless
Pre-Light Aroma: Strong

Snipped this baby and lit her up. GREAT draw (like padrons and patels) but the first thing I noticed was a lot of spice and a lot more strength than an Edge. The first third was definitely strong and had some powerful flavors going on. I thought that it would be hard to smoke the whole thing (since I had already had a Nording), but after the first third it mellowed and got very creamy. It developed some streaking problems on the burn but it happens so I just worked with it and got it corrected. I smoked all the way down and the only thing I can tell you is WOW. I thought it would mirror the Edge in flavor and strength but it does not. It is a pretty powerful smoke as most Camachos are but with a understated smooth flavor. This would be a good alternative if RP Edges are a little weak for you. It seems like I keep smoking things that are like the Edge and I think that there is a reason. For the money you can not beat either one of these. One is stronger than the other but other than that both are excellent smokes.
